A Roman soldier wore armour was made from strips of iron and leather.We know about Roman armour and weapons from Roman pictures and statues,and from finds by modern archaeologist.The soldiers main weapons were a short sword for stabbing.On their head was a metal helmet.The shield was made of wood and leather.They carried rectangular shield.
